Goodbye To PreLeven?

It is B.laqphamas' first baby, "PreLeven Mixtape: Revision", did a lot for the artist, earning him his 1st spin on national radio - 5fm's Hiphop Powernites with C-Live - with his lead single "It's On" FT Q-Mayn.

A solo effort produced by his younger brother, S.K.iLL, named "I Wanna Go" was another fan favourite & finally we will get a chance to bid farewell to the project that started it all by releasing it FOR FREE online & giving away FREE copies at a PreLeven gig to be held in the Buffalo City.

B.laqphamas' Next Move?

B.laqphamas has officially named his next mixtape "TEN:45" (10:45) to keep on track with "The Road To Eleven". B.laq speaks of the project as having a "feel good and conquer" vibe to it which is a shift away from his usually self-examinatory lyrics.

TEN:45 is set to release in time for summer.

The project's 1st single "Still The Hottest" will feature AK Hasty and is to be released 10 October.

Introducing LuThOz

LuThOz, B.laqphamas' long-time friend and other-half of dice.game shall be releasing his debut mixtape entitled "I Sat Around and Waited" ( I S.A.W.).

The project features AK Hasty, B.laqphamas, Qhawe (formally known as Frankii Major), Slujah (of Capital Effect) etc.

I S.A.W. is set to release in November.

VIDEO: Locnville - Stars Above You

"Stars Above You" (The Video obviously) is a sick video, I'm still in awe considering that it's an all South African production as the animation work on it is phenomenal (watch towards the end). The song is about a girl (usually due to the fact that their fanbase are mainly drooling females - a la Justin Bieber) and how they're (both?) gonna lay her down with the star, well, right above her.

Am I gonna buy the album? I think so... And I'll probably look out for the night that I'll seduce a blue-eyed damsel beneath the naked East London sky. - B.laqphamas

Now, there's not much to say about this joint it's just so deadly honest, kinda reminds me of AKA's "All I Know" (Check Out The Video on Slikour.com) but that's a story for another day.

It begins with the all so famous drunk-dial (noun: the art of making a sometimes emo phone call to a person of interest who is usually a former spouse) and a kick announces Drake recall of well, the night he made the call.
